Certificado ODS is an international entity authorised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research CIFAL Malaga-UNITAR that promotes and fosters a culture of sustainability, the values of the Sustainable Development Goals and ESG criteria, thanks to training courses and certification programmes.

OUR STORY
Sonia Díez, president and founder of the educational group Horizonte Ítaca, presented the SDG Certificate project at the 16th meeting of the Cifal Global Network. The meeting was attended by Nikhil Seth, Under-Secretary General of the United Nations and executive director of UNITAR, Alex Mejía, director of UNITAR and the CIFAL Global Network, and the directors of the CIFAL centres in Atlanta, Argentina, Bogotá, Dakar, Durban, Flanders, Istanbul, Madrid, Málaga, Mérida, Miami, Newcastle, Philippines, Quito and Shanghai, as well as the technical teams of the different delegations.
Since its creation, ODS Certificate has developed different training and social innovation programmes, promoting a cultural change in the educational and business sector. These programmes and initiatives have reached countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Spain, receiving the support of international organisations, governmental entities, companies, universities and foundations.
With the aim of continuing to promote a cultural change for sustainable development, Certificado ODS is working to develop projects with a global reach.

The ODS Certified Schools Network is an initiative derived from the «Certified Educational Institutions» programme that brings together all the actors of change that are part of it. Its mission is to disseminate best practices, share resources and foster collaboration between business and education, impacting the local and global community and shaping a sustainable and prosperous world.
