Description of the modules

MODULE I. UNIVERSITY NETWORK & THE 9R´s
28th of June to the 5th of July
OBJECTIVES
- Enable participants to get closer to the SDGs and participate in solving global and local problems.
- Educate students towards other more responsible and sustainable models of consumption.
- Set up teams and join a network of young people involved in sustainable projects.
- Design a frugal innovation project.
- Communicate it through social media campaigns.

MODULE II. AGRICULTURE AND SUSTAINABLE LIVESTOCK
5th of July to the 12th of July
OBJECTIVES
-
Develop analytical thinking towards poverty from a global and local perspective.

Reflect on how our daily habits can improve other people’s lives.
-
Sustainable agriculture and livestocks practices.
-
Apply different planting techniques.
-
Make efficient use of natural resources.

MODULE III. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HARVEST WATER?
12th of July to the 19th of July
OBJECTIVES
-
Tree T-PEE.
-
Learn the first steps in aquaculture.
-
Assess measures and add changes to ensure the sustainability of marine life.
-
WARKA TOWER / where every drop of water counts.
-
Offer resources for building up a new water culture, with both global and local actions.

MODULE IV. A FENCE FOR EACH HOUSE/CASE
9th of July to the 26th of July
OBJECTIVES
-
Enjoy nature and help preserve Los Alcornocales Natural Park.
-
Reflect over our unnecessary energy consumption.
-
Research hydroponics related issues and species that pose a risk to the ecosystem of the Natural Park.
-
Become aware of the importance of infrastructure in regards to natural disasters.
-
Collaborate in the design and construction of wildlife passageways and perimeter fences.

MODULE V. #SAVETHEBEES
26th of July to the 2nd of August
OBJECTIVES
- «Protect bees to protect agriculture» Workshops
- Provide students with a space where they can communicate, interact and exhibit their work.
- WeCicler / community, ecology and environment
