MODULE I.

ECOLOGICAL FARMING AND LIVESTOCK EXPERIENCE

From June, the 28th to July the 5th

OBJECTIVE

  1. Practice sustainable agriculture and livestock skills
  2. Apply different planting techniques
  3. Value the need to consume only what is necessary
  4. Make efficient use of natural resources

SDG AND ACTION

SEED WORKSHOP

  1. Preparation of substrate and seasonal seedlings and other species in the orchard
  2. Carrying out different plant reproduction techniques: cutting, transplanting, seedling and layering
  3. Our seed bank

ORGANIC WORKSHOP ORCHARD

  1. Shall we garden?

MODULE III

INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN FOR THE CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL PARK

OBJECTIVE

  1. Enjoy nature and contribute to the conservation of the Alcornocales Natural Park.
  2. Rehabilitate the lands and collaborate in the protection of endangered
  3. Research issues related to clean energy, the hydroponic gardens and those species that constitute a risk to the ecosystem of the Natural Park.
  4. Design passageways and perimeter fences for the fauna and wildlife

REFORESTATION WORKSHOP

  1. What do I need to know before initiating the process of reforestation of the Natural Park?
  2. Land preparation, planting seedlings and wild olive trees, maintenance, protection and management

 CIRCULAR ECOLOGY YOUTH NETWORK

OBJECTIVE

What sustainable ways of managing waste improve the environment and the economy?

What would a world without bees become? What risks to food supply would its extinction cause on the planet?

CIRCULAR ECOLOGY NETWORK

  1. Create a youth network with camp colleagues and establish partnerships with entities that work in the environmental protection and preservation.

  2. Great ideas for re-propose, recycle, reuse, redesign, rethink, repair, restore, recoup, reduce. The 9 R´s of the circular ecology.

ACCOMMODATION

YURTS: traditional nomadic home originally from Mongolia, a portable circular tent, covered with felt or fabrics and used as a dwelling by nomadic groups in the steppe of Central Asia. The yurts preserve the traditional decor whilst adopting a modern interior design offering great comfort and spaciousness.

TEEPES: Conical tents made up of fabrics upon wooden poles originally used by indigenous people of the Great Plains and Canadian Prairies of North America and Canada. Nomadic homes fully furnished and equipped with everything necessary to offer great comfort.

BELL TENTS: Comfortable and spacious tents, equipped with beds, offering guests the opportunity to experience the Glamping adventure.

CORTIJO ANDALUZ: A stunning cortijo built around a traditional courtyard that oozes authentic Andalusian charm, consisting of a large dining area, sitting room, a fully equipped industrial kitchen, rooms decorated in a fresh and natural style, as well as an organic vegetable garden.
